The GTR Jason MacIntyre Memorial TT was held on the Eglinton 10 mile course on Saturday 20th August. Fullarton had two riders out with Steve Donaldson recording 25.50, 3 seconds slower than his season’s best on this course. Dougie Macdonald bettered his time from the Bill Moore Memorial TT, run by Fullarton in May, by 37 seconds to dip under 23 minutes for the first time. The club also had William Hannay entered but he didn’t make it to the start line – hope to see him racing again soon. Obviously, these events can only function with the help of officials so it was good to see Mikey Allen marshalling at the turn (and offering encouragement to favoured riders) and Gordon Graham officiating, though the sooner Gordon can shake off the long term effects of covid and get back to racing the better.
